NOTE

This scenery is a rough historical reconstruction. Its real purpose is to demonstrate the scale of this air training base. The buildings have been relatively simplified but the number, shape and location have been respected as much as possible. The same model was applied to buildings of fairly similar dimensions.

The surrounding scenery has remained that of today. On the grounds of the airport, the traces of current installations or vehicles have however been masked or removed.

In the absence of information on the buildings on the current site of the tower-terminal-garage, I copied and pasted those of the base.

The scene can be CPU "demanding" when approaching due to the high number of polygons for the wheels of airplanes and jeeps. I want my wheels to be ... "round"!

Bedford military trucks with tarpaulin and M49 tank trucks and their textures have been converted from the FSX library. The texture of the tank truck was also used for my Willys Jeep.

The training observation towers, along the coast, are located 1.7 min at 038 and 3.6 min at 269. Today, they can still be seen, even modified, along route 132, a little before and a little after Sainte-Flavie.

The characters, very rudimentary (it's not my specialty!), are there only to give a little "life" to the scenery.

A static German submarine was placed on the river. Several Allied ships were sunk in the St. Lawrence during World War II. The submarine was placed approximately where the SS Carolus sank, following her torpedoing most upstream in the river. Do your research!
